Falling into that beautiful thing called Love...

I would never have dreamt that I would find an inspiring love thought on the inside of a Galaxy wrapper.... but then I guess you never know!!

ATTRACTION. FLIRTATION. EUPHORIA. DOUBT. THE TRUTH
(I don't know why I want you, but I really do)

That inexplicable, elemental tug. That surprising sudden feeling you've been waiting for. This is yesyesyes. This is where you find something or someone, and just fall for them. Illogically. Irresistibly. And find yourself thinking of nothing else.
Because it's attraction, and the dream of love to follow, that keeps imagination alive. It's attraction that makes life sparkle and fizz...
Never stop falling in love...

Well done Galaxy guys - whilst this could potentially describe my love of your oh so scrummy chocolate, it definitely describes falling in love with my totally wonderful fiance...

Make your Valentine feel really special

The fabu-licious team have tracked down a whole host of goodies so that you can theme the day of love with thoughtful, finishing touches and treats that will suprise and enamour your lover...
Breakfast in bed
Start the day the way you mean to go on, by waking your love with a nice cup of steaming tea, served in a pretty heart decorated mug. Or why not go Italian with a cappuccino - don’t forget to stencil a heart in the froth!
Kisses for me
Sprinkle your whole body with raspberry kiss Honey Dust and then check out your kissing compatibility (go on- you’ve got all day to work on it).
After dark
If you’re going out, then it’s time to slip into a warm bath (not too hot or you’ll doze off) spiced up with our Valentine’s bath fizzers.
If you’re staying in, then why not share your bath with your loved one? Ditch the lights; light up the candles and scatter heart shaped confetti as a finishing touch.
Cook dinner and serve it from the heart, with our great range of Valentines table items. Heart shaped napkin rings, ice cubes and candles will add those finishing touches that say you really care!
Bedtime
Now’s a great time to whip out your Valentine Seduction Kit or Love Essentials Gift Set ! Keep the lights down low, light an aphrodisiac candle and wind your way to the bedroom. You can even light up your bed with heart shaped lights.
For something new, why not try out our amazing hot heart massager or if you’re feeling naughty (but nice) why not get the fluffy handcuffs out for an added thrill.
Everyday lovin’
Valentine’s is but one day of the year, so keep your love light shining brightly all year round with our 52 weeks of naughty nights kit and other fun items.
And if you don’t have a loved one to share Valentine’s Day with this year... well, we all know you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find the ‘one’ so if you’ve not found them yet, why not pamper yourself anyway.
After all, it’s important to love yourself and we think you’re fabu-licious!

A very special love quote

"Love is a portion of the soul itself, and it is of the same nature as the celestial breathing of the atmosphere of paradise." Victor Hugo

I just love this quote - it makes me think of the special person in my life...

Top tip for all you romantics - sign up for daily love quotes and then email one a day to your lover.....

Day of love or yet another shopping opportunity?

Is February 14th, Valentine's Day, still considered the day of love or has it just morph'd into just another shopping opportunity?

As a top smoocher and all round romantic (oh yes, and part time shopaholic), I have to say even I don't know anymore!

As I am bombarded with emails suggesting what I could buy my loved one this Valentines (from CDs and kitchen applicances (!!) to faux rose petals and massage oils) - I find myself wondering if in amongst all these lovely gift ideas is the true sentiment of Valentines getting lost?

For my part, I'm inclined to say...

MAKE EVERY DAY VALENTINE'S DAY !

Show the one you love just how much in everything you say and do.
Day in. Day out. Year in. Year out.

That said, I'll probably post some of the lovely gift ideas too - for anyone who hasn't found that 'perfect something' just yet!!!!

Does your star sign really dictate your perfect match?

Three months into the launch of Smoochers.net and we're seeing more and more smoochers joining us every day.

Interestingly, one of our most popular areas on the site is our Star Sign Compatibility section, giving you a overview of each zodiac sign, and which star sign matches best with which. Judging by the sheer volume of visitors we see to this feature, it seems that belief and superstition is still strong and healthy in what many would view a very cynical world. So is there any basis to this belief in compatibility based on what time of year you are born?

Well, from a purely personal point of view, I can tell you that as a Pisces, my most compatible star signs are Capricorn, Cancer and Scorpio, and given my last three long-term relationships have all sat within these zodiac signs, it all seems to stack up at least for me. In fact, my new beau, and absolute love of my life is a Capricorn, and we are complete and utter, utter soulmates.

Coincidence? Maybe. Pure chance? Quite possibly. But whatever the stone cold facts are, astrology is not just a passing fad; it's been practised for centuries, and even scientific research seems to point to there being 'something' to it.

But regardless of the facts, aren't scientists and sceptics missing the point here? Even if there really is no hard evidence proving that astrology works, does it really matter? I, like millions of others, use their daily horoscope as just another voice in their daily internal debate between choices or decisions. Sometimes, when there really is no right of wrong answer, isn't a horoscope a lot more valid than a toss of a coin, or a magic 8 ball?

Whatever you are; believer or sceptic, just do one thing for me - take a couple of minutes to check out your star sign compatibility chart and let us know whether the love of your life's star sign matches or contradicts your profile. In the small survey we've done (OK, we asked around the office!), the 'evidence' has been pretty convincing but we'd we'd love to know your thoughts too.
